Now, here's the thing - yes I joined Twitter. I'm sorry. I thought very carefully about the decision, and I've come to the conclusion that in the end, it's just a tool like any other.
Take a chainsaw for example: NOT ALWAYS A WINNER - If used incorrectly, it could be used to cut down trees or other creatures of greenery; when in the right hands though, it could cleanly decapitate several members of Fred Phelps' GOD HATES FAGS organization.
Take the modern 'blog' as another example: 99% of all blogs suck absolute shit - however when used properly, the blogging medium can be used for the disemination of enlightenment and endlessly wild entertainment.
Well, I reasoned, maybe it's the same with twitter feeds! It's got to be as good as you make it - yes of course, anyone who writes updates about what they're having for breakfast is a jerkoff. But I ask you: is the same not true for blogs?? Don't hate the game, hate the player.
In addition I'll be able to leave multiple updates a day and interact with you far more frequetly - something I've missed dearly since beginning work on my super-secret project.
If you don't belong, it's worth joining- no gayprilfool.

i'm firmly in the twitter is for twats camp but NOW i'll have to rethink it...if only for a pause or two and tha'd be a nohomotwatter (yeah i still don't quite have that figured out yet)
